As we approach the New Year, there is so much conversation around the goal you met in the past year and resolutions.

Where you grew up, who raised you, what you were exposed to, the experiences you’ve had, what others think of you, how you perceive yourself, how you actually are, the list could go on and on. It is so easy to get caught up in doing something because others want us to, or because others expect it of us. Then we wake up one day and aren’t really happy. But what about the things that you used to do, and parts of yourself that were really great, that you’re not actively using anymore. What about getting those back? Only if you want to of course. Let's talk through recognizing when you yearn to bring back a part of your past self is beneficial versus bringing back something because others expect it.
